Individual Counseling

Using a combination of Systems Theory and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, you will learn more effective ways of navigating life’s inevitable challenges.  Managing stress and/or depression is a very important skill to learn so that you can enjoy life to the fullest.  I do a lot of teaching in my sessions and you are sure to walk out with skills that you can apply in your life immediately that will decrease the symptoms that may be slowing you down. Depending on the severity of symptoms, we may incorporate neurofeedback to assist in decreasing symptoms.

I work with people who experience:

  • Anxiety (from low levels, to high levels)

  • Depression

  • Difficulty in finding the right relationship

  • Difficulty with family relationships

  • Difficulty relating to a spouse

  • Parenting stress

  • Job loss stress

  • Low self-esteem

  • Chronic worry that may be interfering with life

  • The need for help in starting a lifestyle change

  • The need to get rid of a habit that is no longer serving you

  • Work related stress

  • Difficulty focusing

Navigating the world around us can be challenging.  Gain a broader understanding of your life.
